A Buchholz Beauty Pageant

This week's blog is short on verbiage, which might be the weakest aspect to my game anyway. I won't describe plants or proffer any knowledge. In fact the blog is a contest, sort of, and you might turn out to be the winner.

We are almost half way through the calendar year, and I pause to reflect on the amazing floral treasures I have seen. Besides photos from my nursery, I have travelled to Washington, California and western Oregon, visiting nurseries, home-owner gardens and impressive arboreta. Many of the plant encounters have been photographed, even though they will likely never have any commercial application. I came, I saw...I recorded. I have gathered my favorites from the last four months, which I think is a little over 100.

Ultimately I have my favorite. What is yours, if any? You are encouraged to vote for one (only!). If you select the same as me, you will receive for free a 16" x 24" print, mounted beautifully on a bamboo board, totally ready for hanging. If more than one of you choose my favorite, I will randomly select one to receive the prize. If no one likes my favorite, I will randomly choose an entrant and send your favorite.
