Thanks
to all who participated in our July 1st – December 29th
photo contest. There were an equal number of votes for Acer palmatum and Acer
circinatum, and both of those were my favorites as well. I broke the tie by
choosing Acer palmatum which was taken on November 10th, 2014 at the
Portland Japanese Garden, and Karen H. was selected at random as the winner.
She will receive a 16" by 24" print mounted on a bamboo board, ready
for hanging.
